DESCRIPTION :
Syrup Carmidex®(Mustakarishta) is an effective Ayurvedic medication, which is used to treat a range of digestive disorders such as gastritis, loose motions, and indigestion. It increases the secretion of gastric juices and corrects the liver functions.

Each 5 ml Syrup Carmidex®contains the following ingredients below :
Cyperusrotundus 2.63mg
Zingiberofficinale 27.38mg
Piper nigrum 27.38mg
Syzygiumaromaticum27.38mg
Trigonellafoenum-graecum 27.38mg
Plumbagozeylanica 27.38mg
Cuminumcyminum 27.38mg
And other ingredients with excipients as needed.

PHARMACOLOGY OF MAJOR HERBS :
• Cyperusrotundus :Chemical constituents : Cyperene-1 and cyperene-2, cyperotundone,ß-selinene, cyperenone, α cyperoneetc.Actions : It is used as stimulant, emmenagogue, diaphoretic and diuretic. Itis used in stomach disorder and bowel irritation .

• Zingiberofficinale :Chemical constituents : Terpenes, cineol, borneol, citral, camphene, phelandrene, gingerol, shogaol, zingerfone, zinziberinetc.Actions : It is used as aromatic, stimulant, carminative. It is used in dyspepsia, flatulent, colic and vomiting.

• Piper nigrum :Chemical constituents : Alkaloids-chavicine, piperine, piperidine, piperitine;gum, starch, fat, essential oil etc.
Actions : It refreshes entire human body. It is used as carminative and enhances the activity of vital organs.

INDICATIONS &USES :
Dyspepsia,diarrhea ,chronic dysentery ,Stomach & Liver Weakness ,Flatulence
,Loss of appetite ,Anorexia .

DOSAGE &ADMINISTRATION :
Adult :2-4 tea-spoonful 2 – 3 times daily after meal.
Children :1-2 tea-spoonful 2 -3 times daily after meal or as directed by the Reg .Physician .

CONTRAINDICATION :There is no absolute contraindication.

ADVERSE REACTION :Not yet known.

USE DURING PREGNANCY &LACTATION :Not recommended for use during pregnancy. Use in lactation period as directed by the Reg. Physician.
